Having the abortion was probably the best decision, Emma. You were 21, the guy who knocked you up was giving you so many drugs and was a terrible influence on you. If you had his baby, he would have been in your life for at least 18 years and he would have f****** dragged you down.

I shouldn’t have urged you to have the abortion though. That was your decision alone to make. As your friend I wanted the best for you, but also as a man who was attracted to you I didn’t want to be raising another mans child. I knew if you had the baby, we would never get together. You didn’t have the baby and we were never together anyway, we would have made a bad couple anyway. A portion of my motives were absoutly unaccetable and I appoligise for that.
