When I was in 6th grade I used to listen to xxxtentacion a lot and was starting to swear, once when talking to a friend I was telling him what this kid said to my cousin and I used the n word, I am not black. He then said he wasn’t gonna talk to me anymore and I was confused. After that I looked to see what the word meant and immediately felt regret and apologized to him. I was stupid and so ashamed of myself for that. I have since then educated myself on black history and slurs but I still feel so much guilt for what I did, this was all 6 years ago.
