I went to the gas station and a guy had a sign asking for help to pay for some gas. I was going to help him, but some guy came up to him so I thought it was all good. Turns out the guy was a racist jerk and was running him off. I was pumping gas already. I could have left the pump and intervened, but I didn’t. I feel terrible. I drove around after looking for the guy who needed help, but couldn’t find him. I’m going to do my best to be more brave next time.
