I have lied about my name multiple times, and am currently experiencing the fallout of it. A friend who I gave a fake name has now gotten close to me and I am unsure how to tell them that it’s not my real name. Do I tell them the truth, or keep up the lie, and keep adding stuff on just so I don’t make them feel terrible?
