Bro that s*** is normal. Everyone does it. It’s part of human nature you could say. You do it because it brings comfort to you. Don’t shame yourself for something like that.

I myself feel the same way sometimes, but it’s important to remind yourself there’s nothing exactly wrong with m*********** alone as an action.

My shame from doing it comes from my religious trauma. But I’m telling you, God wouldn’t hate you for trivial s*** like that. I promise. So stop beating yourself up for something literally everyone else does. It’s not divine punishment whenever something bad happens to you after you m*********. S*** still happens even when you don’t m*********.
