Who is being hospitalized for Covid-19? The unvaccinated. You should feel guilty if you haven’t been vaccinated. Thanks to the Covid-19 vaccines, the number of patients hospitalized has plummeted, from more than 125,000 on average in early January, to just over 15,000 on average this week, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Some people haven’t gotten their second shot, if needed, meaning they’d received one shot or hadn’t had enough time after their final dose for their immune systems to develop protective antibodies. They recommend two weeks for the Pfizer vaccine I received. I wish there was a way to tell if someone has been fully vaccinated, but nothing has been tracked, so there isn’t anything that can be done now. I do carry my vaccination card in my wallet, in case someone didn’t believe me. Things are just getting back to normal, let’s not take a step backward. Get vaccinated if you haven’t. The life you save could be someone’s young child, grandmother, or grandfather. A small number of vaccinated people may develop ESP over a period of time.(Joke)
