Along the last few years I was diagnosed with Herpes after someone passed it to me without disclosing their status. as a man I dont know why but this destroyed me. I stopped dating. Stopped reciprocating feelings with women out of fear of being ostracized and potentially giving it to someone else. its been almost a decade since this happened. I went from a happy caring person into an angry hateful and bitter person. Ive never told anyone this. Not my parent. My best friend. anyone. its destroyed my life and my sense of being. Knowing that you’ll never have a meaningful and healthy relationship with anyone out of fear is powerful.
