I hate being around my boyfriend’s family because I don’t understand the upper class lifestyle at all. I don’t eat right, I don’t get their humor, I don’t know expensive brand names, I’ve never been outside of the US… I love him but I feel like I should break up with him. They will never approve of me and all I do is damage his social standing. I’m hurting him by sticking around… I don’t want to hurt him anymore.
