I miss the old me. The me that was full of life. The me that was overflowing with ambition. I am ashamed of what I’ve become and I long to get back to being in that position in my life again. I am trying to change but it is hard, especially since I flee from my dilemmas. I have to keep telling myself that I will keep trying…

My brother and I lost our father at a very young age. We would visit our Aunt and Uncle in the country few times a year. I was 14 years old that summer. I then realized why. One afternoon I found my mom and uncle in the barn. They were in the hay loft. Mom was giving out those adult moaning sounds.

Last Sunday afternoon I missed a phone call from my husband Roger. He’s visiting the local prison. I totally forgotten what time it was. It was my birthday and I had other things on my mind.
