I’m a 17-year-old girl and I was charged with assault, battery, and family violence. My court appointment is tomorrow. I’ve been going to counseling and my counselor wrote a letter to the judge that says I’m getting help so this doesn’t happen again, which I will give to the judge tomorrow. My conselor says he knows the judge and that this letter will go a long way for me. He also says the judge is pretty empathetic.This is the first time I’ve ever gotten in trouble with the law. I hope I don’t go to jail. Do you think I will go to jail?
