I adopted a cockatiel from someone recently. He was terrified of hands. He latched onto my roommate’s finger and did not let go. Flicked him over and over. He was bleeding from the eye. Come home a couple hours later, spinning in circles with head tilt and just flapping helplessly. Put him down humanely. I killed this innocent bird. He was just scared.
