I have depression. This isn’t an excuse, but it’s a reason. I was neglecting my fish so much that they were going days without being fed and weeks on end without a tank cleaning. I was just so apathetic and unmotivated. I thought it was cruel to keep them alive like this so I killed them… I made it as painless as possible but I feel so bad and I can’t stop crying.
