I was 18 at a local drug dealers party, ended up there randomly with some friends.

I got wasted and took a gun he had laying around and shot out of his open window by accident.
Next day I found out the bullet had gone through a neighbors windows and the cops had raided his place and arrested him, since they found out where the shot came from.
He got 3 years in prison. He called me and told me that I now owed him $50.000, which I did not have at the time, and still don’t.
I fled the town it happened in and moved into a bigger city.
This was 11 years ago.
I have managed to stay low key and not tell anyone else.

A couple of months ago, the biggest gangster in the city (he has decapitated people personally) called me and asked me if “I could help him translate a letter”.
I’m not stupid and knew what that meant since I knew that him and that drug dealer were in the same gang.
I might have to move to another country now, because it’s not safe for me here anymore.
