I am a shoplifter/thief. I don’t pocket things in stores, but I will take expensive produce and go up to the self-checkout and enter “bananas” and pay .49 cents for Gala apples that are $3.99 a pound or whatever it is. I will also fill up a bag at the “Assorted nuts” section for $6.99 a pound but I will stop by the Brazil nuts ($14.99 a pound) and cashews ($12.99) a pound and dump some of each in the bag, and pay $6.99 for the whole bag. I know it’s wrong, I know it’s childish, but I make like $14,000 a year working full time, 7 days a week and dammit, I want to eat fresh fruit and nuts. I tell myself I will stop when I start making more money. One time I got caught and all the woman did was charge me what the items were worth and it wasn’t a big deal, so I don’t think I’ll be going to jail. It just s**** that I’m a grown man and a petty thief. I am ashamed. Thank you for listening.
