Please forgive me, for I have sinned. It’s been many years since my last confession. I have sinned many times. I have used the Lord’s name in vein, disrespected my parents, taken advantage of people, stolen material items from a few places of business, lied to my parents, cheated on the love of my life twice, said horrible threats and given ultimatums to my boyfriend regarding our relationship, hurt his friend Chelsea in the process, hurt him too much to be able to forgive myself, abused drugs and alcohol, doubted Him and questioned my faith almost weekly, and hurt myself (emotionally and mentally). I am seeking the Lord’s forgiveness and guidance as I attempt to redeem myself and pay for my sins while trying to repair the broken relationships in my life. This is not the person I was a year ago and this is not the person I don’t want to be.

Absolution does not come free. Are you willing to make up for these things. Are you willing to try your darnedest not to do them again. Otherwise, it means nothing.
