I was at a camp program and they made us write a letter to a parent. I spent fifteen minutes fighting off a panic attack before finally scribbling a letter to my dad that I can’t bring myself to give him because jesus christ it sounds like a goddamn suicide note, and I’m terrified that he’ll find it but I can’t bring myself to throw it away either.
