My stepdad let me borrow his skateboard one day and I forgot to bring it inside. The rest of the day and all night it was down-pouring and now it’s sort of water damaged. I tried to bring it up and it turns out the board is vintage and they stopped producing them– basically, it’s worth a good amount of money. I’m trying to clean the board, doing an unhealthy amount of research and ugly crying. I don’t know if I should try to buy it off him or try to restore the board. Either way he’s going to find out :/ He already hates me and I’m absolutely certain this is gonna be the nail in the coffin.
