Im with my boyfriend and I absolutely love him. My ex still thinks we have a thing and I really want to get rid of him but distancing myself doesn’t seem to work because he’s obsessed with me and he’s completely oblivious. How do I get him away from me, but without hurting him?

Try talking to him and being completely honest. Say that you don’t want to keep in touch with him because his actions are making you uncomfortable.
If it doesn’t work, block him. You don’t need to be polite with someone is clearly disrespecting you.
If he is going after you outside of the internet, you should talk to someone and maybe go to the police.
