I was in a position where I was almost s******* assaulted as a child by a family friend. I said no and stopped anything from happening bc I was uncomfortable with what was going on. I didn’t want our friends to get in trouble so I never told my parents. He was later arrested for child p********** and s***** assault toward his young cousin (younger than I). I still have never told anyone because of the enormous guilt I have. If I’d told my parents about it at the time, it might have saved another boy from abuse.
