I’m a cis, straight woman but a strong ally of the LGBTQ+ community. However, it’s kind of annoying when people constantly say “Stop playing the victim!” To all straight people. I get that you’re proud of your s********, but there’s no need to use it as an excuse. Yes, you have been oppressed for a long time, and I respect that, but when people turn against straight people just for being straight, it kind of s****. I’m not trying to play the victim, I’m just sick of staying quiet, because in the end, this is a form of descrimination against s********. There is a way to live in harmony. Not everyone in the LGBTQ+ commity is like this, and not all straight people are homophobic. Please just let everyone support one another.
