I just started driving two months ago and i haven’t really gotten used to driving my dads van. As a result i usually park it far away in an empty spot but today my idiot self tried to park in a closer spot around other cars. I haven’t got the hang of front parking yet for vans so as i was going into a spot i didn’t estimate the space good enough and bumped into someones car. When i backed away i saw a small 6 cm scratch. I drove off because i have no insurance and also no money. It was my first time ever making a mistake that bad. I mean as a new driver i make mistakes like bad turns or exiting a parking lot at a bad time. People honk at me but now i know for sure that these aren’t just occasional mistakes I’m a terrible driver. I feel so bad for that driver and whats worse is in my head when i did it i was thinking everyone’s done it at least once which is not true. If i had a job and money i would put 500$ on the windshield with a note but I don’t.
