I almost let someone die because everyone they were friends with thought it wasn’t in anyone’s place to tell someone that a certain someone is planning to end their life. “If they want to end their life, respect that and not tell anyone.”
Fortunately they didn’t go through with it, and got proper help.
The consequences of telling anyone, i would have lost my only friends and I was more afraid of losing them than telling someone that they were planning to kill themselves. Maybe it isnt in my right to say anything but helping someone you know could use help is also nice.
I’m so selfish.
not helping someone who feels the same way is shameful to me. And to think there is and would have been absolutely no one around to help them willingly from doing something regretful. Guess it proves to show you how much a human life is worth.
