Sockless girls always have a special place in my heart and I can’t explain it. Yes it’s a f********** but it’s so super specific. Back 25-30 years ago in the early to mid 90s it was more rare for girls to wear shoes without socks or pantyhose –

Not saying it never happened! Plenty of girls still wore keds barefoot in summer or loafers or boat shoes or moccasins or whatever – but more often than not, most girls and women I saw in the mid to late 80s and early to mid 90s wore socks or hose most days even in the south – and it was a bummer, so finding girls that bucked the trend was special

Even in the late 90s when Birkenstocks took over everything and sandals came back in then eventually the plague of Flip Flops by the early 2000s – god why so many people people with ugly feet wear flip flops is beyond me !

So Sure girls threw on heels to run to prom sometimes without pantyhose back in the 90s but it was the exception rather than the rule

But now a days it seems way way more common

On the flip side way fewer people smoke cigarettes these days , like way way fewer
