4 years ago on my first day at a new high school, the hottest girl waved to me while I was walking in the hall. Idk what I was thinking but stopped and walked over to her. On my way to sit next to her (mistake 1) I heard her say to this other girl she was sitting next to ” OMG he’s coming over” (not in a good way ahahah). Keep in mind I’m 16, extremely socially awkward and had no clue what I was doing so when I heard her say those words my heart dropped, glass shattered, the world came to a crashing end in front of my eyes. I start going through scenarios in my head thinking about my options here. either keep walking towards her or run, but I was in too deep, my retarded 16 year old self was set, I had to finish what I started. I proceed to sit next to her. I don’t even remember what I said, all I know about what happened after I sat next to her, is that I mumbled probably the most cringy thing that girl has probably ever heard someone say to her, and I ran away. F*** it feels good to say that.
