I was arrested a few months ago. When the police came to my door, he had a gun pointed at my chest and said, “Let me see your hands!” I was naked save for underwear, under a towel and was doing my best not to get shot and not expose my breasts at the same time. The handcuffs were so tight, they were cutting into my skin.
How do I get over the nightmares? Ever since then, I have nightmares about getting shot. I think I may have post-traumatic stress disorder.
I have lost all respect for law enforcement.
