I was walking home when I was about 9 from school. There was a high school boy who walked behind me everyday until he reached his house. He seemed pretty nice, he once found a 10 dollar bill and gave it to me. This was a lot of money to me when I was 9 and I never thought anything of him. One day, I was walking home and he suddenly called out to me. I had only ever spoken to him once and turned around to face him. We were about 10 feet away from each other and he asked me the words that still sicken me to this day, “What does this taste like?” He had his d*** out and was pointing toward it. He was gesturing for me to taste it and I looked back down the road. I was about 100 meters from my house. He didn’t know where I lived and I didn’t want him to. He took a step closer and waved me over again. I took my chance and ran as quickly as I could and heard his footsteps behind me. I ran and ran around my neighborhood. My mother always called me when I got home to make sure I was okay. When I picked up that phone I was so embarrassed and humiliated that I almost didn’t tell her what happened. People who have never been in these situations don’t understand how it feels to tell someone. You feel guilty and feel like you did something wrong. I didn’t have anything physically bad happen to me, but remember that I was 9 and he thought that because I was young that I would be none the wiser and would have done what he told me to.
