The government knows everything, and is here to help us. How fortunate we are, to have them do our thinking for us, and protect us from ourselves. (sarcasm)

It’s appalling how politicized everything has become.

And how completely nearly everyone still accepts and supports the political system as necessary and valid and steerable by voting and by sternly-worded letters to one’s . . . wait for it . . . “representative”.
