You know Chris McCandless? He left his family and his entire life behind. He got rid of his ID and social security number. He made himself a nobody, and eventually hitchhiked to Alaska to live off the land and ended up dying (summarising). I’m a 17 year old in highschool and I dream of living this life. Not to go to alaska, but to become a new person, and leave this old life behind. I could go to south america, and all around the USA, meet new people, and live a new life. It’s weird because I have a good life, I live in a nice house, nice parents, kids at school love me. But even still I dream of doing this. I think if this life doesn’t work out and go the way I want it to, then in gonna do it. I’m gonna leave.
