im working on trying to have more lucid dreams. i dont really know what my method is, besides meditating until i fall asleep, but telling my self to have a lucid dream over and over. ive had about 3 or 4 since then. but the moment i realize im dreaming and can do whatever i want i have about a 10 second window before all hell breaks loose and i wake up. i can conjure anything i want within those 10 seconds, after that, whatever randomly comes to mind appears as well, and thats when im bombarded by randomness and eventually wake up. im trying to have a s** dream with a specific person.

  • Get a digital watch, the kind where the diamond shapes make up the numbers. Get in to the habit of checking it VERY often, like once every 5 minutes. Your brain can’t reproduce it correctly in your dreams so it just looks like some fucked up alien language or otherwise random symbols. It should cause you to go lucid almost every time.

    Stay calm, controlling bigger changes require higher levels of concentration and are more likely to wake you up. You are much more likely to influence your dream world the way you want if you just keep coming back to the same topic in your mind without focusing too hard on it, there is a pretty good chance it will morph in to what you want if you are patient.

    • Also the high concentration changes are an easy way to make nightmares fuck off. With enough practice you’ll recognize a nightmare and become lucid immediately, then you can just concentrate for a moment and wipe out the whole dream and then relax back in to sleep to let it reset to something else. Stay the fuck away from mirrors.
