I’m a white male, 19 years old, 5′ 6″, 140 lbs, I’m in college, I literally work 7 days a week, I’m relatively well educated, and raised by a loving family. I’m going to prison in 3 days for the “sale of marijuana” and “conspiracy”. I will be sentenced to 6 years (5 suspended if I behave) and 5 years probation upon my release. Prison is not a place for a guy like me. I’ll be a convicted felon for the rest of my life. My college education so far has now basically become worthless due to the fact that no one hires felons. I feel like I’m shouting for help, but no one is paying attention. I also feel like the justice system has become numb to the fact that they are destroying young kid’s lives before they even have a chance to move out of their parents house. If there’s anyone out there in a similar situation, your input would be much appreciated. I’m gonna go cry myself to sleep now.
