I’m gay and no one else knows. I have not trusted a single soul this major secret. I don’t want to confess that I am gay because I want to believe that it isn’t true. I want to believe that my s***** preference is nothing and that I will be able to live a normal life. I want to be like every other guy and find a nice girl, get married, have kids, grow old with my wife and look after my grandchildren. Sadly, I can’t have that. The only way I can have a kid is through adoption or having a surrogate mother to birth my child. I hate that! I hate that I can’t be normal like everyone else. It’s weird to think about being in a relationship with a guy because that’s not normal. Although, I have had many s***** feelings for different guys, I never felt anything beyond s**. As you can tell, I desire greatly to fit in. I don’t understand why God had to make me this way and thus force me into a life of confusion, anger, and loneliness. I think about life as being openly gay, and although it sounds great to not have to hide who I truly am, I know that it will be a life filled with others not accepting me, others hating me, and others disapproving me for who I am. I guess I will just have to learn to not give a s*** about what other people think about me. This mindset is harder to achieve than what it sounds, especially when homosexuals are constantly being ridiculed of.
