I’m a high school senior about to leave to college. All my life, I’ve wanted to move out of the town I live in. That was, until this girl came into my life.

I met her through track in February, when she moved from up North, and the first time we actually did anything outside of school was during spring break. We went running together for fun just about every other weekend, and near the end of school, we started doing other stuff like going to the movies. I was too scared to make a move however.

Then, she went on vacation for about a month over summer, and just got back last week. When we met yesterday we had as much fun as we had always had.

But here’s the dilemma: She’s a rising senior in high school, while I’m going into college in three weeks. My college is about 2 hours from where she lives, and I’m not entirely sure whether she likes me as a friend or would like me as more than a friend.

With this girl, I feel like cupid ninja kicked me in the balls and is currently strangling me while I’m down. Thats how much I like this girl.

What should I do? My brain is telling me to try to just be friends because it will be hard doing a long distance relationship so soon, but my heart says to ignore all of it and try to make a move now!
