Sometimes I don’t know if I love my girlfriend. My parents do not approve of her: she’s five years older than me (I’m 17, she’s 21) they don’t want their daughter to be in a lesbian relationship etc. I’ve fought really hard to keep this relationship, and I’m still fighting, but I’m starting to ask myself if it’s really worth it. Do I really love her? And if I would break up, what would happen? I know she loves me really much, it would totally destroy everything for her if I told her this. I don’t just don’t know what to do…

New Confession

I was painfully shy with duper low self esteem when I was younger. Parents can really screw you up. Anyway, in Jr us I had a HARD crush on a lovely and very pretty girl. I talked with her and she was nice to me but I never told her how much I cared for her or how beautiful she was. This was 51 years ago. I found her on FB and sent her a message, telling her how beautiful and sweet I thought she was. She was touched and we chatted. She said I had made her day. I’m glad I gave her a smile and that I was honest with her about feelings I was too afraid to share years ago, I just wanted her to know that someone thought she was sweet and gorgeous. She said she was glad I reached out but also sad that I couldn’t share my feelings at the time. I’m glad I did it, for her and myself.
