Tonight I took a pregnancy test for the first time just to reassure myself that the symptoms I’m having are just a bad reaction to my birth control and not because I’m knocked up. Turns out I was right, and I am not pregnant! I could jump for joy because I am nowhere near ready to have a kid, nor is my relationship with my boyfriend at the point that I think we could deal with this. Time to break out the sushi and alcohol in celebration.
