Last night was the first time I ever stepped foot in a gay nightclub. When I entered, the song “I Feel Love,” by Donna Summer, was playing, followed by another old song, “So Many Men, So Little Time.” I soon realized that many of the patrons were older men and these songs were from their era. At first I wanted to leave, but these men in their 50’s and 60’s were so friendly and fun, I decided to stay. I am sorry I was prejudiced against older guys because what I learned is that they are warm, caring, and are not all about a quick s***** encounter. They wanted to get to know me for the man I am. I had such fun dancing to older songs and laughing with them. I know I will go back to this club in the future. Thank you particularly to the owner, who personally welcomed me at the door and showed me around the club later on.
