My confession is that my parents think that I’m still a virgin. I’ve been with my boyfriend for quite a while now; yet, they don’t know. However, my brother knows–I drunkenly confessed to him and his wife several months ago–and thank God he and his wife do not spill the beans. My parents would be disappointed. I don’t regret being with my boyfriend. He has been the one and only; we have been together for 6 years now (I’m 23 years old). We waited 3 years to be intimate. I’m glad we waited, but I am also glad we began. He is a true gift from God and I do not deserve him. My parents are great too. And, they are so great, I just don’t want them to be disappointed in me.
