Believe it or not, I was a pro wrestler for a few months. I quit for a few reasons,
1,it’s nothing like on TV, people take it so seriously behind the scenes, it’s not the fun and games that it looks like.
2, I wasn’t instantly good at wrestling, it was my dream and in my imagination I was the chosen one so I would instantly be the best in the world like in a movie. Errr reality was doing it wrong in not making that true. Reality should be a movie and I should be the star.
3, it actually really hurts, the pain is real. I’m not getting my ar.se kicked for a living. I’m too important for that and why would I do something that hurts?
4. The working conditions were so dirty and low class. I expected a luxurious changing room like a movie star. I got an unheated, damp, dirty room.
5, we had to build and dismantle the ring. There were no assistants to do that like in the WWE.
I had two wrestling characters Demento and Count Westwood.
