I feel ungrateful for the birthday present my mum gave me. She told me to check my bank account and since it was my 40th she put more than usual in there for me. It was £200. I was expecting £1,000 when she built it like that. I could do with the money because due to a life change I needed to take 2 weeks off work and have lost a lot of earnings because of this.

I feel bad because I love my mum and she doesn’t owe me anything, she has already sacrificed so much for me and here am I ungrateful that I got free money.
