If I build a house and it is full of flaws then am I not the one responsible for the flaws and errors since I am the builder? Or should I say the house is full of sin. It is the fault of the house! The house must be punished by burning it. It must burn forever and ever for disappointing me.
That sounds crazy but that is what many religious people believe!
