i got a cat recently and i invited one of my good friends over to meet her (i used to crush on him and i am perfectly happy with our platonic relationship). he was playing with the cat and petting her and there was at one point where he was soothing her with a gentle voice and calling her a ‘good kitty’ and i hate to admit that it kinda turned me on for half a second before i realized like wtf am i thinking
