So my guy best friend was in love with me. He approached me several times but i never saw him beyond a friend. He’s a way too special friend of mine and i never wanted to risk our friendship so i decide not to date him as i never had feelings for him as a lover. Now he’s starting dating a girl and i feel abandoned. I know it’s wrong but I’m unable to express how i feel. As he started dating it seems like he’s ignoring me. I want to be his bestfriend but it feels like he’s got nothing do with me. am i wrong to feel like this or the guy is being a******?

I’m lonely, I feel useless, I feel like thrown away garbage, I feel like the biggest idiot in the world for thinking you ever actually cared, I feel heartbroken, I feel guilty, I feel like I missed out on my real life fairy tale because you were always supposed to be my prince but as it turns out I’m not a princess so a prince would never want me.
I feel simply dumb.
I know that the next time you make time for me I’ll be there waiting just like the f****** idiot i am.
You’ll give me that little glimpse of hope just to jerk it back away with silence and distance.
