Never thought about them as “h*********”
I was simply judging them on their music. Which is g******* terrible UNLESS you are a little girl.
No, I was way too busy learning to play the guitar through Guitar World Magazine when music was still good, in my early 20’s thinking about more than recent close encounter with childhood girlfriends at that time. 2. It really affected me.
So yeah, I guess if you are a straight man, you look at or hear Hansen, it’s in one ear, out the other and you’re thinking “g******* it… How the f*** does anyone play that s*** (I mean Hansen themselves, playing the song) and catch even the slightest buzz off it?”
And “Who the hell listens to this s***?” It’s incredibly lame. Little girl music” Little attention was paid but at the same time at the time, if you have the TV set on Much Music or MTV, you are going to see those turds at some point. It was unavoidable. But if you’re me at that time, 70’s-90’s rock, what I had seen and heard, what I know, what I AM playing on the guitar at the time, Hansen would have been a joke to me when I was 5 years old. When I was listening to The Bay City Rollers. F*** I couldn’t even stand the Mini Pops when I was a kid. 7 years old. I don’t want to hear this kid sing Eye Of The Tiger, I want to hear the Survivor version. The adult version.
