I should have been a teacher. I’m good at….no ….I take joy in teaching HARD lessons.
I work for pretty small company. Everybody knows that if you get the Flu, the best thing for you to do is to stay home until you’ve recovered from it so you don’t spread it around to other employees. Well, my boss didn’t think it was a good idea to stay home. he came in to work sick with the flu all week. Come Friday I feel myself getting sick with it. Then the weekend hits… that time when I get to do what I want to do but no not this weekend, this weekend I’m laid up in bed running a fever and miserable. I’m still sick but getting over it… But back to the lesson. He could have easily stayed home until he got over it… He’s salary–It wouldn’t have affected his paycheck. I’m hourly. I can’t afford to take off from work. So ok. That’s fine. Stupid decisions yield stupid consequences. I’m coughing up nasty mucus from the inflammation in the back of my burning throat. I coughed up some of it into a napkin and rubbed it on just about every door handle I could find. I hope they ALL get sick. I’ll be laughing my a** off at all them b******. Thats what you get for f****** up my weekend.
