You may want to store the currency in two or three different locations so if something happens to one location, the other is safe. Currency may contain drug residue or smell so it needs cleaned. Always test any soap and water or sprays on just one dollar first before washing a bunch. Hand wash only, no washing machines.

Anything buried underground MUST be sealed in plastic to keep it dry and that package put inside another sealed plastic container. Short PCV pipe sealed shut is good to stop moisture. Sealed is a must. If you have privacy from neighbors watching, it can be buried in the garden or somewhere in the yard. You MUST know the exact spot so you can retrieve it later.

Currency goes down in value every day. Gold and silver coins do not lose value. Purchase at private shops where your name is not required and the parking lot does not have cameras to record your license plate or park elsewhere and walk onto the parking lot instead. NEVER make large purchases of many coins. Only buy a two or three. Bargain and haggle like any shopper. Don’t go back to the same shop anytime soon.
