It’s crazy how sometimes the truth can be right in front you, but for certain reasons you are unable to see it whether it is a cognitive choice or an uncounsious one. All my life i was lead to believe things were set in stone, certain situations were “normal”, i did things because i had to. But i was deadly wrong. Can i really put the blame to other people though? We are so oblivious to the fact that our choices really impact other people in ways we cant imagine. We are humans after all, fighting to be logical while constantly falling prey to our need for pleasure, being acknowledged, our desire to feel important. But you can’t be motionless and choiceless in life or you’ll be devoured in no second. In the end it is in our nature to hurt and take advantage of everything around us, sometimes in a way that even harm ourselves. Accepting our deep flaws and destructive nature may be our only way of reducing the damage we create. But how can we accept something that we cannot understand, something we cannot see. How can our limited perception allows us to finally see the truth?
