I’m starting to become concerned that I’m secretly a racist. My father was active in far-right-wing organisations that were openly racist, pro-eugenics and white-supremacist, and I heard a lot of his political views growing up. We argued about it once I’d gotten older and I’ve always tried to treat everyone equally, regardless of their skin colour/origin/gender, but I’ve observed that I’ve never had a friend who wasn’t a white European/North American. Same for s***** interest- I’m bisexual and like men/women of all ages, but again, only white Europeans/North Americans; people of other races just seem alien somehow. My actions have never been racist, but I’m starting to think that my thoughts are.
