Fed up with stroking my mums ego all the damn time, I feel like a yes machine – constantly having to agree with her opinions and listen to speeches one after the other, gimme a break for fucks sake. Then again it’s not like I’m going to say anything cause I don’t want to look back on my life and think ‘I should’ve listened to my mum more’. Mummy dearest, your opinions on celebs are skewed by what the herd of social media thinks and funnily enough I have zero interest in listening to you regurgitate some bad take you’ve vaguely read about. I feel trapped, I can’t disagree cause I don’t want to upset you. I feel bad about being so passive but anything more than a nod and some incomprehensible sound of agreement is too much effort for me.
