I miss the days when people were actually wild and unfettered, when people didn’t think every single thing they did was some kind of bold political statement, when people wanted new experiences. The past 10-15 years humanity has gone retarded and seems to just be unraveling further. In an era where we’re all supposed to be so much more “advanced” everyone is at peak ignorance. Radical views were never supposed to be mainstream, you’re all being had and you don’t even realize it. Go out and f*** a stranger, have taboo s** with a friend, drink too much, go on a road trip, do something fun and unexpected of you, throw caution to the wind. This too shall pass and people of the future are going to look back at this era as the goofiest and most ridiculous there ever was. People really need to stop for a second and look within themselves at what they’re doing, it’s not a good look, it’s ugly as s***. I’m kinda terrified of the future but at the same time I know as long as I keep the foundation I have things should be ok, I’m simply grateful for what I have. There are things I’d like and wish I had of course, and maybe one day I will, but for now what I do have is good enough. If this is all there ever is that’s also ok with me, so many people I know will spend their lives alone waiting on an impossible dream instead of just being happy with what they have and what’s available to them. Try actual appreciation for once.
