I think we all need to sit down and rethink some things now.

I just had a discussion with friends, and how they think we don’t own the stuff that we brought. I don’t know what happened between these few years, but somehow everyone is agreeing that we don’t own the stuff that we paid for.

That we shouldn’t sell our stuff and should throw them away instead cause the creator wouldn’t profit from us selling our stuff. Cars shouldn’t be maintained/repaired by third parties and should be sent to the car branded workshops. And its fair play for them to “lock” their phone for unauthorized repairs and we should just send to companies to be repaired.

It’s insane on how much they think its fine that we don’t own the stuff that we paid for.
Books? Throw it away and let the other person buy full price “to support the author”. Games? It never belonged to us anyway, Steam “rents” you the game and they are free to pull it off the shelf anytime and you couldn’t download it anymore even though you brought it full price.

What happen to owning stuff? Will we one day not own our house? we abandon it “to support the developer”?
