I’ve never seen my dad cry before. He just cried twice in the span of 10 minutes because his damaged leg reminded him of his father(my grandfather) being stuck in a wheelchair. He feels helpless. He says me helping him reminds him of helping his father when he was young. It hurts me so badly to see him like this when outside work and independence is what his bones are made of. I wish I could help more than I am, and it’s only been 3 weeks. I just want him to be okay.
